Michelle fell in love with yoga over twenty years ago when she walked into a Power Yoga class in Boston taught by Baron Baptiste. She went on to practice Ashtanga yoga in New York for three years at Jivamukti Yoga studio before returning to Portland, where she grew her career as a lawyer, raised her two boys and, now spends her free time developing her self-practice, camping, hiking, gardening and playing with her best friend and Portugese Water Dog, Kiki.
Michelle recently fulfilled her longtime dream of becoming certified as a yoga teacher, completing the 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program at The Yoga Space NW with Michele Loew. Michelle believes in the transformative power of yoga on the body, mind, and spirit. She brings warmth and energy to her Vinyasa, Restore & Flow, and Restorative Yoga classes. Her passion is to inspire her students to find their own inner strength, and encourages humans of all ages, shapes and sizes to join her in this journey.
