Where to start, where to start?!! My goodness, our existing teachers are adding new courses, and we have added 2 exciting new teachers to our community!
New Classes, New Teachers!
Yoga with Perumal: Moving to Tuesday's, 5:30 - 6:30pm AND keep your eyes open, Perumal plans to introduce the second class in his Ideal Studio Program soon!
Vinyasa with Glen Bristow: You know him from his Yoga for Peace and Joy on Sunday's evenings, and now he's adding this new class, Monday's at 5:30pm. If you will attend both classes every week, you should really consider saving a bunch with Glen's monthly membership!
Yoga with Coop: Cooper has added a second session every week, every Friday evening at 5:30 - 6:30pm. Now you can greet the sun with Coop Wednesday morning and rev back up for the weekend together on Friday! Once again, if you will be coming to bother classes, Coop's own monthly membership is a fantastic deal!
Let's all weldome teachers Gabriella Gaytan-Mares and Audrey Nash to our Yoga on Yamhill community!
Gabriella teaches her own unique practice that she tells us is a "yoga sandwich with Sculpt in between." We love that! Yep, we are buying weights for the prop room and Gabriella will introduce her unique style of yoga for warmup, Sculpt to ... well ... kick your butt..., and restorative yoga to wind you down and stretch your muscles and fascia to improve muscle healing and growth! Gabriella tells us "I fell in love with yoga in early 2022, so much so I had to do teacher training. I am a trained yoga and sculpt instructor with a passion for sharing the transformative power of these practices with students of all levels." Gabriella will be trying out a 6am - 7am time slot on Monday's and Friday's, starting January 6th (will be adding that to the schedule soon!).
Audrey Nash is a 500 Hour YTT Certified Restorative Yoga instructor who brings over 15 years of yoga experience and 5 years of teaching experience to her practice, which she describes as "... incredibly intuitive, going beyond informing students of the practice and instead guiding them through a sincere, healing experience." Audrey incorporates Reiki and other modalities in a practice that adapts to the individual class and students' needs and reflects her "experience with various bodies and [commitment to be] incredibly accommodating/loving to any and all with varied life experiences. Audrey will teach on Tuesday's from 6:45-7:45pm, starting January 14th. This is a great opportunity for those of you using Vinyasa or other practices to improve body health and strength, as Restorative has been proven, by stretching muscles, fascia, and other connections, to combine with aggressive excersize programs to result in greater muscle growth and health.
