I have been practicing yoga since 2013, and teaching since 2016. I believe everyone can practice yoga, regardless of size, age, or disability and I am always happy to help you modify any pose to better suit your body. I always teach with a warm up, a focusing of the breath and body awareness, then movement timed with the breath and some longer holds of poses to add intensity, then a slow cool down to Savasana (or yogi nap time). You can always expect a body scan and long Savasana at the end of my class. I encourage my students to do what feels good in their bodies and to honor their body if something feels wrong. Yoga is meant to challenge us, empower us, and to feel good. Hope to see you in my class!
